We told you in Sept. that Bruno Mars has been tapped to perform the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, and on Feb. 5 he made the official announcement with an absolutely epic photo. We have the details, here!
Finally! We’ve been dying for Bruno Mars, 29, to officially announce that he’s performing the Super Bowl 50 halftime show since we told you the news in Sept. that he had been tapped to take the stage. On Feb. 5, just three days before the big game, he finally let the world know with an amazing pic! Here’s the scoop.
On Feb. 5, Bruno took to Instagram to share a photo confirming what we told you way back in Sept.: that he’s playing the halftime show at Super Bowl 50! The picture is totally epic, too. He’s posting pointing at the sky in front of a full band and the Levi’s stadium sign. He captioned the awesome pic: “it ain’t a party if Mr $how Up & $how out doesn’t show up.#Confirmed #SB50 #Halftime #Coldplay#Beyonce #TheBrunz #Shwaaaggg.” Woo hoo!
Bruno has been spotted at rehearsals at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California where the Broncos and Panthers will face off, reports Entertainment Weekly, and in one of his numbers, he’s singing alongside Beyoncé. The two of them, uniting for the halftime show will be next-level amazing! Not to mention Coldplay will be there too. This is sure to be the most major Super Bowl moment ever.
Back in Sept. a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY “The NFL is throwing their net far and wide and wants to see who they can get, so Taylor [Swift] is still an option. Britney [Spears] is still an option and Bruno is also an option. Nobody has confirmed though but the league wants it set by Thanksgiving.” Now just three days before the big game, Bruno has finally confirmed!
