Beyonce is guaranteed to slay the stage at Super Bowl 50 on Feb. 7, and now reports are saying she’s going to perform twice thanks to whispers of new songs being on the set list. We have all the amazing details, here!
The Beyonce, 34, Super Bowl performance with Coldplay just keeps getting better and better. Now, reports are coming out saying the Queen will perform not once, but twice! Not to mention there might be some brand new songs involved. Here’s the scoop.
Beehive, rejoice! it sounds like Beyonce may have a lot in store for us for her Super Bowl 50 performance alongside Coldplay than we originally expected. Since she’s not the headliner, we thought she might show up just to perform her new song with the band “Hymn For The Weekend” and maybe a short clip of one of her famous hits, but now reports are coming out that that isn’t the case.
Beyonce may be planning to perform twice, reports Idolator. And what’s more is that she might be debuting two new songs off yet-to-be-released album (yeah, the one we’ve been waiting for for 3 years). Fan sites report on Feb. 3 that Beyonce practiced the soon-to-be-hits at her Super Bowl rehearsal, and that it was not played over the loudspeaker so they couldn’t be recorded and leaked. According to the site, one of the new songs will be “Formation”, a name that was confirmed by a pic of a storyboard from August that had the name on it.
The report of the double-performance is further fueling rumors of a new album set to be released after Bey was spotted filming a music video in Skid Row, and fired her entire team at Parkwood on Feb. 3, including her own cousin. Idolator‘s source said “she wants to surround herself with business people who could take her career to an even higher level.” Well, we hope thta higher level includes a new album!
