NBC, get your sensors ready! Miley Cyrus just revealed that she was following in the steps of Rihanna and Taylor Swift! She will be the key adviser for season ten of ‘The Voice.’
“Lickin @xtina buttonz! @nbcthevoice #keyadviser #season10,” Miley wrote on an Instagram pic on Feb. 3! Naturally, she’s sticking her tongue out in the picture, almost touching Christina’s button with it.
This is obviously a huge move for Miley — and part of what’s about to be a busy 2016 for her. She just signed on for her first post-Hannah Montana role in a new Woody Allen show that will air on Amazon. It’s actually the first TV series that he’s ever written too. “Stoked to be in Woody Allen’s first series!!!!! I had claimed 2016 to be my year of ‘chillin the f–k out,’ but next to my bed for a few years now has been this portrait of W.A. & I was looking into his eyes when I got the call to be a part of the cast.” Yes, she has a painting of Woody next to her bed.
She’ll star alongside Elaine-May, 83, for the six-episode series which will be set in the 1960s. good thing it’s only a half a dozen episodes — she’ll need to be teaching young kids to sing on NBC!
Season 10 of The Voice will begin on Feb. 29. NBC did not immediately reply to request for comment. Story developing!
