Kardashians Watching ‘American Crime Story’ — Filming Themselves For KUWTK – Hollywood Life

Kardashians Plan To Film Selves Watching ‘The People v. OJ Simpson’ For ‘KUWTK’

Will the Kardashian family be tuning in to see their father, Robert Kardashian, portrayed in 'The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story'? They sure will -- and they'll be filming their reactions for 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'! The O.J. Simpson murder trial is an especially touchy subject to the Kardashians, whose father, Robert Kardashian, was at the center of the case as a defense attorney. But rather than shying away from The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, a miniseries that chronicles the trial and involves their late father, the Kardashian crew is actually intrigued by the new show. In fact, they're so interested in watching, they'll be featuring it on their own show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians!

“They are going to watch it all on their own time but then film them watching it together for the show,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “It will definitely be on ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians.'”

Although Khloe, Kim, Rob, and Kourtney have all made it clear that they miss their dad, Robert hasn’t been a major topic of conversation amongst the Kardashian clan on their show. Depending on how much they show of their time watching The People v. O.J. Simpson, we might be getting some major insight into how Robert’s kids really feel about him!

Prior to the Feb. 2 premiere of the miniseries, Kris Jenner already voiced her opinion on the trial of which her late ex-husband was involved. Robert was great friends with O.J., so he acted as a defense attorney in the 1994-1995 trial to prove that O.J. had not murdered his wife, Nicole. But despite being friends with O.J. as well, Kris didn’t agree with what Robert was doing…because she thought O.J. was guilty!

“I want to give everybody the benefit of the doubt,” Kris told People, “but the evidence was so strong.” Well, we know where Kris stands, so it will be interesting to see if her input has any affect on what her kids think of the whole thing!

One thing that Kris and her kids don’t have to be super concerned with, though, is the accuracy of Robert’s portrayal. Kris told People that she “spent hours” on the phone with David Schwimmer, who is playing Robert, to make sure that David’s depiction is as spot-on as possible. It will likely be an emotional KUWTK when The People v. O.J. Simpson is featured, but we have to say — it will certainly be one heck of an intriguing episode!
