Wow, ‘Grease: Live’ totally surpassed our expectations and they were just as good as the original 1978 musical, if not better! From ‘Summer Nights’ to ‘Hopelessly Devoted’ — we have all the performances right here for you to watch!
Grease: Live was unbelievable. We were so impressed with Julianne Hough as Sandy, Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo and can we please talk about Aaron Tveit as Danny Zuko?! FOX really brought the heat — it has to be our favorite live TV musical ever! But in case you missed the show or want to relive the amazing performances over and over, we have all the videos below!
“Summer Nights” has to be one of the most iconic songs from the original 1978 movie and we thought Julianne and Aaron did a fabulous job. Their duet was so romantic and you need to watch it below if you haven’t already:
This one is a tearjerker! “Hopelessly Devoted,” originally sung by Olivia Newton-John is a total classic and Julianne, once again did an amazing job.
Get on your feet because “Grease Lightning” is even better in 2016!
Vanessa did a great job singing, “Look At Me I’m Sandra Dee.” We had to do a double take because she reminded us of Stockard Channing dancing on the bed in her blonde wig!
We have to give major props to Carly Rae Jepsen who sang, “All I Need Is An Angel.” It was also so sweet that Didi Conn, who played the original “Frenchie,” was part of her song in the diner, it brought tears to our eyes.
We have to give a shout out to Boys II Men‘s rendition of “Beauty School Dropout” — it was epic!
Vanessa crushed it once again in, “There Are Worse Things I Could Do”:
Right before Sandy has her bombshell makeover, she sings, “Goodbye To Sandra Dee”:
The moment we were all waiting for, “You’re The One That I Want.” It was so HOT and we are obsessed with it! Julianne and Aaron look just like Olivia and John Travolta from the original musical, and sounded just as flawless!
When everyone comes together at the end for, “We Go Together” it was magical. It was the perfect way to end the show and we thought it was amazing!
