Bravo! Legendary country music star Vince Gill, 58, was at his patriotic best when he performed the national anthem alongside daughter Corinna before the NHL Honda All-Star Game at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Jan. 31. Well done, Vince and Corinna!
The “I Still Believe In You” singer was in perfect form as he belted out the “The Star-Spangled Banner” with daughter Corrina Grant Gill in tow for a special performance before the exhibition event. Stream Vince’s music HERE!
Vince showed off the talents that have helped him sell over 26 million albums around the world, and he genuinely seemed happy to be there. Plus, his daughter sounded amazing! And that’s probably because he was playing at the stadium of the ice hockey team, the Nashville Predators. He’s held season tickets since the late ’90s! It must have been a dream come true to play at his favorite arena!
However, performing isn’t Vince’s only duty for the day. He has also been chosen to be the guest celebrity coach during the All-Star Game, with a roster of some of the best NHL players. Not a bad selection, huh?
Amusingly, when asked by The Tennessean who his dream pick as his enforcer on the ice for the All-Star Game would be, he joked, “I like Dolly (Parton),” his collaborator on “I Still Believe In You.” Now that would be a sight to see!
