Talk about a positive turnaround. ‘Teen Mom 2’ star, Leah Messer, has regained shared custody of her twin daughters, Aliannah and Aleeah. It’s been a crazy year for the Virginia native, but things are finally turning around. Congrats!
Leah Messer, 23, has been battling her ex-husband Corey Simms, 26, in court for what seems like a life time. On Oct. 7, he won primary custody of their twin daughters Aliannah and Aleeah. Now, the mother of three has finally regained shared custody of the twins.
We are very happy to see just how well Leah is doing. The controversial Teen Mom star has been awarded shared custody again, according to Us Weekly. “Leah is doing great,” a source claimed. “She had confidence that she would be proven right and get her custody rights back.” Leah reportedly will have the girls on Thursdays through Sundays, and then their dad, will take them on Mondays for the remainder of the week. Such great news for not only Leah, but for her twins!
After she lost custody to Corey, Leah stated “I Have done so much to become a better person, it was like a slap in the face.” the mother of three previously revealed to In Touch. “I think child support has a lot to do with it,” Leah told the outlet. “When him and Miranda first met, that’s when he started the full-custody thing. It hasn’t stopped since then.” She also added, “I feel like they should have both of us in their lives. At the end of the day, my kids are going to be happy, and I don’t care what I have to do to make them happy.” Well, we’re just happy the girls get to spend equal time with both of their parents — that’s the real win.
