Lamar Odom’s dark days are inspiring Rob Kardashian’s walk towards the light. What role is Lamar having in Rob’s recent transformation? Keep reading for all the details.
Rob Kardashian 28, is in the middle of a major life make-over and his brother-in-law Lamar Odom 35, is partly responsible. Rob had a troublesome 2015. His love life was in shambles, he was depressed, his health was failing and he never came out of the house. But now all that seems to be turning around. How exactly has his inspiration come from Lamar? Heres’ what we know.
“Rob’s visits with Lamar lately have inspired a lot of the changes Rob is going through right now,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Since Lamar has been released from the hospital he has been staying behind secure gates at a home near his soon to be ex-wife, Rob’s sister, Khloe Kardashian. Here Rob and Lamar have been able to visit in private. “Rob was so saddened by Lamar’s situation that he felt the urge to get on the path to health,” says ours source.
“Life is very fragile and seeing Lamar in that condition reminded Rob that health is precious,” says the source. Apparently the short visits with Lamar really lit a fire under Rob. He has a new girlfriend in Blac Chyna, is eating well, exercising and is finally getting off the couch and leaving the house on a regular basis.
“Lamar watched as some of his closest friends died last year,” the source says, “and he told Rob that he did not want anything bad to happen to him too. Seeing Lamar so weak helped light a fire under Rob.” So what advice did Lamar give Rob? “Lamar told Rob to take better care of himself especially now that he has diabetes,” says the source, “and Rob listened.”
“Visiting with Lamar was a real wake-up call for Rob who was recently in the hospital too,” shares the insider. Rob’s big transformation is a huge accomplishment but Lamar is not the only one that deserves some credit. Blac has a big role in the healthier new lifestyle and Rob’s mom, Kris Jenner is grateful.
