When Donald Trump took the stage at his rally in Iowa on Jan. 28, he told his crowd of supporters that American vets are treated worse than illegal immigrants. Plus, he said he raised $6 million for veterans in 24 hours!
Donald Trump did not hold back one bit at his Iowa rally to raise money for veterans. He told his supporters that he wanted to be at Fox News’ Republican presidential debate but that he had to stand up for himself because the network has “mistreated” him. He did say that Fox News’ president, Roger Ailes, called him multiple times and begged him to reconsider joining their debate.
“We had about 24 hours to put this together, it was very, very quick. This is an honor, I didn’t want to be here, I wanted to be about 5 minutes away and I’ve enjoyed that all the online polls say I’ve done well with the debates. I’ve had a kick with it. But you have to stick up for your rights, when you are treated badly you have to stick up for your rights, we have to do it. Whether we like it or not that’s what our country has to do. As an example, Iran the way they have been treating us with this horrible deal, it’s one of the worst deals I’ve ever seen negotiated under any circumstances. we have to We have to stick up for ourselves and our country when we are being mistreated, remember that.” he said. “Fox has been extremely nice the last number of hours.”
Earlier in the day Donald slammed Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly on Twitter and said she’s basically a “bimbo.” “I refuse to call Megyn Kelly a bimbo, because that would not be politically correct. Instead I will only call her a lightweight reporter!”
