Not again! For the second time in a year and half, Mark Ruffalo got forgetful and lost his wallet AND phone in a major city…during a major blizzard nonetheless. But lucky for him, two super cute little girls came to his rescue and ended up recovering Mark’s lost possessions. Phew! See the adorable photo he took with the tiny sleuths right here!
Mark Ruffalo, 48, proved that sometimes even the Hulk needs help after he lost his phone and wallet and ended up turning to the Twitter community for a helping hand. But although Mark plays a superhero in the movies, the real heroes of this story were two little girls who found Mark’s belongings and returned them to him safe and sound. Aw!
Amenaide and Catherine Brown received the hug of a lifetime on Jan. 23 from Mark Ruffalo himself after finding Mark’s lost phone and wallet in the midst of Storm Jonas in NYC. The little girls were with their father, Peter Brown, according to TMZ.com , and at the time, the family couldn’t unlock Mark’s phone. Thankfully though, someone sent a text to the Spotlight star and they were able to get in touch with his publicist. Whew! All in a day’s work, right?
Mark is already an avid Twitter user so it was no surprise that after losing his belongings, he took to the social media site to let the world know. The Oscar nominee promised one of his over-2-million followers a “Reward and signed pic” in exchange for the goods lost in the blizzard. And actually, people turned out to be surprisingly helpful!
Some fans suggested tracking his phone with internal GPS or an app like “Find my phone,” which is pretty genius! …But only if you’re phone is actually turned on. “It’s dead!!! Waaaah,” Mark responded to one concerned Twitter user — cue the face palms. Other people however, could not resist using a little humor in their tweets to Mark — and they got super creative!
@MarkRuffalo sadly it won't be found until spring

@MarkRuffalo just use some stark technology to find it.

But despite the comedic remarks, after only 20 minutes, Mark reported that both his phone and wallet were miraculously found! …and by two little girls no less. “OMG It was just found! That was freaking fast. Thanks for helping me find it!!,” the actor enthusiastically tweeted.
He later posted a photo on Twitter with his pint-sized heroes and captioned the pic, “Thanks Amenaide and Catherine Brown for finding my Phone and wallet! Thanks Brown family for your decency.” Mark reportedly gave them a $100 reward along with a signed Hulk photo. SO precious!
Sadly this isn’t the first time Mark has lost something and had to use Twitter for help. A good samaritan named Ross McHale reached out to the star on Twitter in July 2014 after finding his wallet in a cab in Chicago. Hopefully Mark learned his lesson after this latest incident and from now on will put a tracking device on his things!
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of the two little girls finding Mark’s phone and wallet? What would YOU have done if you found it?
