He’s giving us a first look at the FULL track list. See it here!
Kanye West, 38, really knows how to get his fans pumped! After weeks of teasing new songs on social media, the rapper took to Twitter on Jan. 25 to reveal that his highly-anticipated new album, Swish, is finally complete! In addition to calling it “the best album of all time,” Yeezy also did his fans a solid by revealing the LP’s FULL track list, including the names of six un-released songs. Ok, so we already know that Kanye is collaborating with stars like Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign and more for his seventh studio album, and now thanks to the rapper himself, we know the names of all of his songs, too! Taking to Twitter in the early morning hours on Jan. 25, Kanye celebrated the album’s completion by revealing the full track list via a photo of a handwritten and nearly inscrutable note, along with the caption, “So happy to be finished with the best album of all time.” Humorously, on the bottom of the page was also scribbled the words, “Kylie Was Here,” leading many to joke online that his sister-in-law’s prank would end up being a “bonus track.” Umm, yes please!
Meanwhile, in addition to the previously unveiled “Wolves” and “Fade” and the recent G.O.O.D. Friday drops “No More Parties in L.A.” and “Real Friends,” Swish will boast a total of six other new cuts, all of which we’ve spelt out for you below:
Swish track list
1. “Nina Chop”
2. “Father Stretch My Hands”
4. “High Lights”
5. “30 Hours”
6. “No More Parties in L.A.”
9. “Real Friends”
Interestingly enough, his sweet tribute song to his mother Donda and daughter North West, “Only One,” did not make the cut, nor did his other collaboration with Paul McCartney and Rihanna, “FourFiveSeconds,” which the three performed last year at the Grammys. Also missing is the track “All Day,” which Kanye debuted at last year’s Brit Awards and performed when he closed out the 2015 Billboard Music Awards back in November.
The “I Am A God” rapper has previously described the album as a “sonic painting,” and promised fans it would be more upbeat after the ‘in-your-face’ Yeezus, which came out in 2013. “I don’t wanna overly describe it or overly try to hype it up. I’ve been working slow,” the 38-year-old told radio host Big Boi when he called in to Real 92.3 back in November. “It’s like a sonic painting, and it gets better and better every week.”
Swish (a.k.a “the best album of all time) will officially drop on Feb. 11.
