Not everyone is upset over the massive amount of snow that came falling on the East Coast this weekend. Winter Storm Jonas was a nice surprise for giant panda bear, Tian Tian, who rolled all over in the freezing D.C. temps. You have to see this video!
The National Zoo knows how to make the best out of a bad (and frozen) situation. The official Twitter account for the zoo in Washington, D.C. tweeted a video in the morning on Jan. 23 revealing that one member of their zoo, Tian Tian, was a huge fan of the snow — and now we can’t stop watching this video.
Here’s the video that everyone’s talking about. The caption read, “Tian Tian woke up this morning to a lot of snow, and he was pretty excited about it.”

As you can see, this panda bear is in all its glory and well, you’ll probably rewatch four or five times like I did. However the hilarious video hasn’t just been seen by the whole world (the tweet has over 170,000 retweets), it’s also now been reenacted.
Jeffrey Perez was one of the thousands that saw the video and took it upon himself to challenge the panda. “I challenge #tiantian to a snow battle! @smithsonianzoo #blizzard2016 #snowzilla @panda_fit1 @cbsbaltimore #panda #justpandathings @pereztali,” he captioned his video on Facebook.
The man actually spoke with ABC News, saying that when the weather is better he plans to head to Washington with his family to meet the panda, Tian Tian in person, along with the zoo’s newest 5-month-old panda, Bei Bei. Well we have to wait for that video, because it is going to be good for sure. Get your own Panda costume here!
Alright so who won? Who rolled in the snow better? Who panda’d better? We can guess who gets your vote, but let us know in the comments below!
