This may be Donald Trump’s most shocking statement yet. Trump argued that his constituents are so loyal to his campaign, that they would still vote for him if he shot people in the middle of NYC. Click through to watch his insane speech!
Maybe Donald Trump, 69, should rethink his latest statement? Trump told the crowd at a rally in Sioux City, Iowa on January 23, that his constituents would never abandon his campaign. In fact, they’re so loyal that he could shoot someone, and they’d still vote for him. What? Click through to see his horrifying remark!
“My people are so smart. And you know what else they say about my people? They say that I have the most loyal people. Did you ever see that? Where I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, okay?” Trump said, while pointing a finger gun at the audience. “No, they say…’will you stay most likely, I think it’s 68 or 69%. ‘Will you stay absolutely?’ I think it’s 90%. My people stay.”
WOW. Trump has taken things way too far with this remark! It’s highly insensitive in the midst of a nationwide discussion on gun control, especially when so many people have become victims of gun violence throughout the past year in the United States. Gross! Trump said that his constituents were so smart, but his remark about their support of him shooting and probably murdering someone seems to imply that he thinks otherwise. He’s implying that his voters are so blindly loyal, that they’d go along with anything he does, even if it’s a horrific crime. Dude!
This is, of course, not the only insane thing Trump’s said throughout his campaign. He’s called for a total ban of Muslims for the United States, the deportation of undocumented Latino immigrants, and a 100 foot wall separating the United States and Mexico. The list goes on! His constituents have been loyal throughout this entire campaign; will they stand by him throughout this latest round?
