Congratulations are in order for Jodie Sweetin! The ‘Full House’ star is engaged to her boyfriend, Justin Hodak, after two years together. What an exciting time for the actress!
Jodie Sweetin, 34, is engaged! Just weeks before the debut of her new show Fuller House on Netflix, the actress has even more to celebrate — because her boyfriend, Justin Hodak, popped the question, according to a new report. We couldn’t be happier for her!
Jodie, who played Stephanie Tanner on the hit show Full House and will reprise the role in the Netflix reunion series, has been with Justin for just about two years, and Us Weekly confirmed on Jan. 22 that they’re headed to the altar. The timing makes sense, too, as the actress just celebrated her 34th birthday on Jan. 19 — perhaps there was a bday proposal!?
It’s certainly been a long road to find “the one” for Jodie. She married her first husband, Shaun Holguin, in 2002, when she was just 20 years old, and they divorced six years later. In May 2007, she began dating Cody Herpin, and they tied the knot in Vegas just two months later. Jodie gave birth to her first child, a daughter, Zoie Herpin, in April 2008, but, sadly, separated from Cody by November of that year.
Following the second divorce, which was finalized in April 2010, Jodie began dating Morty Coyle, and it was confirmed that they were expecting a child together. The pair welcomed a daughter, Beatrix, in Aug. 2010, got engaged in Jan. 2011 and wed in March 2012 in Beverly Hills. It was another romance failure, though, as Jodie filed for separating in June 2013.
But despite all her heartbreak, 2016 is gearing up to be a good one for Jodie. Along with the engagement, Fuller House is looking to be a major success for Netflix, and fans are already freaking out from a mere 15-second clip with all the characters — sans Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen — reunited. The full first season will debut on Feb. 26 — get your laptops ready!
