No one does it like Tom Hanks — but Tom Hanks didn’t play Justin Bieber. James Corden and Sean Hayes on the other hand, did.
During a visit to The Late Late Show on Jan. 21, Sean Hayes joined host James Corden on stage to play the famous song, “Heart and Soul” on a giant piano mat. While they did it flawlessly, it was actually after that, when they decided to play — and sing — Justin Bieber‘s “Sorry,” that really won us over. You have to watch this impressive video.

Following “Heart and Soul,” the duo wanted to play “something a bit more hip, down, and groovy with the kids.” Naturally, that meant Justin Bieber’s “Sorry.” While Sean can play piano, James does not, but they totally still rocked out on this giant piano, made famous from FAO Schwartz and seen in movies like Big.
James Corden and Biebs have been friends now for quite some time — Justin’s been on his show multiple times and participated in two killer segments of Carpool Karaoke. James even got an insight into Justin’s life when paparazzi came up to their car. “He lives his life in a fishbowl, dude! Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop taking his photo! Stop! Stop it! He has to live like this! This is his life,” James shouted to the cameramen. Inside the car, he told Justin, “Man, I don’t know how you do this.”
In December, Justin actually crashed James’ opening monologue. “I really just want to host my own late night show,” Justin said to James. “Well, go and get your own show!” James responded, kicking him off stage. Needless to say, the friendship is real — and Justin totally approves of his piano playing skills with Sean. He retweeted James’ video, and added “Nice! Lol.”
So, are you impressed with the karaoke?
