‘Gleason’ is a documentary you’re going to want to watch. While at the Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 22, the producer and director of the movie said the story of former NFL player Steve Gleason’s life will show viewers the harsh ‘realities’ of ALS. Watch the interview here!
Former NFL player Steve Gleason was diagnosed with ALS, and now, his journey through the “ups and downs” in life is documented in Gleason, a movie which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The movie’s director and producer sat down with @Hollywood and explained why they wanted to make a movie about Steve’s life.
“To watch a guy going from being a hero in the NFL, through getting ALS, having a son, and you know, documenting every phase of that process is just an amazing journey. When he got sick, instead of turning inward, he created a foundation, helped develop technology, and he’s a guy that deserves heroic status,” Producer Seth Gordon told @Hollywood at the Sundance Film Festival.
