This is the best news we’ve ever heard — Taylor Swift has officially launched her clothing line and it is everything. There’s a kick, though. The collection is currently only being sold in China, so we have to wait awhile, but we are still just as excited. What do you guys think of her latest collection?
This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for — Taylor Swift, 26, has officially debuted her clothing line and we are freaking out. She originally announced that she was creating a line in July 2015, but it became seriously official when she debuted the collection at Hong Kong Fashion Week, on Jan. 18. The collection is everything we could imagine and more. What do you guys think — are you as excited as we are?
Taylor has teamed up with Nashville-based brand, Heritage66, to sell her clothing line exclusively in China. The collection features typical TSwizzle cropped tees, body-con minidresses and slim pants with the letters from Taylor’s name plastered all over them.
Kate Liegey, chief operating officer of Heritage66, spoke to our sister site, WWD, exclusively, and she said the brand has had “phenomenal” success so far. She also went on to say, “We realized that the demand was just incredible for the store business and we decided to do this show.” Retailers from all over the world, including Dubai, Uruguay and Mexico have been going nuts, expressing their interest. Kate stated, “Everybody wants the product line.”
We are so jealous of whoever was at the show, because WWD said that the models were featured on the runway wearing “musical instruments and faux records — to a soundtrack of Taylor’s hits,” — “Bad Blood,” “Blank Space” and “Shake It Off.” That sounds like our personal heaven.
While we are so upset that the clothing line is only available in China right now, we cannot wait for it to come to the USA. Is there anything Taylor can’t do? I mean, seriously!
What do you guys think of her latest venture — are you as excited as we are?
