Duck Dynasty stars Jep and Jessica Robertson have expanded their happy family. The couple revealed that they adopted a baby boy, Jules Augustus. The pair introduced the sweet baby to fans on the Jan. 20, series premiere of their show, Jep & Jessica: Growing the Dynasty. How fitting!
Talk about a big household! Sweet Jules got a warm welcome from his older siblings Merritt, Lily, Priscilla, and River on the premiere of their new show. During the show, Jessica revealed that they’ve been waiting a long time for an adoption to go through. “It’s like such a surreal moment, to finally have him in our arms. We waited so long and wanted to happen for so many years, so to actually have him and hold him and know he’s actually ours and we’re his forever family, we’re excited.”
After the show, Jeb took to Twitter show to thank fans for their support with an adorable pic of Jules. “Thanks for the love! This has been a crazy, awesome ride but so worth it! Me and Gus signing out!” Clearly Jules already has the cutest nickname — Gus! So sweet,
Fans know Jep as the youngest of Phil and Miss Kay Robertson‘s sons. He isn’t the first to adopt in the family. His brother Willie and wife Korie also have an adopted son and announced the news only a few weeks ago. Catch up with the family on Jep and Jessica: Growing the Dynasty which airs on A+E on Weds at 10 p.m. EST.
