Hilary Duff just turned her pixie cut pink! The singer and actress proved that you can still have fun with short hair when she debuted a fun new color. Get the details on her new look, and how you copy her for the weekend!
Hilary Duff, 28, is starting the new year off with a major makeover. The Younger star cut off all of her hair right before the holidays and has kept the switch ups coming with a pale pink color and slightly visible roots.
The girls at Nine Zero One Salon were behind Hilary’s all around flawless look, which included a custom “iced sorbet” pink hair color mixed up by Amber Maynard-Bolt that went onto Hilary’s hair after Nikki Lee lightened her color up all over. For the perfect finish, Riawna Capri styled her hair into textured waves.
If you want to channel Hilary’s look without bleaching your hair or playing with more permanent dyes, you can try a temporary product like Splat Hair Chalk in Dusty Rose. The sponge applicator lets you draw as much or as little of the product onto your hair as you like, and it washes right out with one shampoo.

Hilary also just landed the February cover for Redbook, still sporting her longer, blonde hair. Wearing her hair loose and tousled and styled in an undone braid, Hilary can pull off any look.
Inside the mag, Hilary talked about the pressure of balancing her career with family life, saying: “It’s hard to say that you really can have it all. I think you can to a certain degree, but fully loaded, pedal-all-the-way-down is tough. You’re missing out on something, either on the career or on the family. When I’m really busy with work, I feel extremely guilty.”
