Tracy Morgan paid a visit to ‘The Tonight Show’ to let Jimmy Fallon catch him up on what he missed while he was in a coma. Donald Trump might be president? No thanks! Click through to watch his response!
Tracy Morgan, 47, got extremely candid on The Tonight Show Monday, January 18! The comedian talked to host Jimmy Fallon, his fellow Saturday Night Live alum, about his tragic car accident that left him in a coma, and all the things he missed while unconscious. There was definitely a lot, but the most shocking event was the fact that Donald Trump, 69, is running for president. Tracy was not happy! Click through to watch!
“It must be weird having this thing happen to you, the coma, coming out [of the coma], the whole thing,” Jimmy says to Tracy during their interview. Tracy is quick to respond: “Yeah, things are different. Donald Trump is leading in the polls. I’m going back,” he says, before slumping down in his chair and pretending to be in a coma again. Oh my god.
Clearly, Tracy isn’t on Team Trump! Tracy did miss a lot when he was in a coma for eight days; he was critically injured in 2014 after his limo was hit by a Wal-Mart semi truck, and faced incredible hardships once he got out of the coma, including brain damage and learning how to walk again. But he’s all caught up on his entertainment and political news, now!
Trump’s candidacy wasn’t the only thing that upset Tracy. He ranted about Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which he bashed for only featuring one “black dude in the whole galaxy” (John Boyega‘s Finn). “I’m pissed off, man! That was Lando Calrissian‘s nephew. He pulled some strings to get him in the cadets. They got him doing that crappy job. He left a good union job as a Stormtrooper. Good union job! I tried to get him an application for sanitation,” he told Jimmy. “I’mma tell you something, man: Chewbacca’s not good, man. He’s behind in his child support payments right now. Everybody knows Chewbacca’s in rehab right now!”
Okay, maybe Tracy isn’t understanding everything going on in entertainment yet. He tackled everything from his thoughts on Creed, how he watched The Godfather 150 times in the hospital, and how impressed he was that Jimmy was beating David Letterman in the ratings.
