The breathtaking former model Stephanie Seymour, 47, got herself in some pretty hot water on Jan. 15 when she slammed into another car in Connecticut, because police believe she was under the influence and arrested her! Now she could face a DUI charge. Here’s the scoop.
Things are not looking good for Stephanie right now. The former supermodel reportedly stopped her Land Rover on a Connecticut freeway off-ramp, and then put it into reverse and hit a passing Mercedes Benz, reports E!. According to the police report, her car was completely on it’s side. “Upon arrival, I observed a black Land Rover sideways at the top of the ramp and behind it was a white Mercedes,” an officer writes in the report. “As I approached the operator of the Black Land Rover, I detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage omitting from her mouth as she tried to answer my questions,” he continued. “After six or seven requests for her license, registration and insurance, she finally was able to fumble through her purse, as she handed over her Connecticut driver’s license, along with a credit card.” It then says she refused all field sobriety tests, and was finally arrested for operating under the influence and unsafe backing.
Luckily Stephanie was able to leave jail on just a $500 bond. However, she will have to answer for her actions, by appearing in Stamford Superior Court in Connecticut on Feb. 2. Best of luck, Steph.
