There’s no denying it, Jacob Tremblay, 9, is hands down one of the cutest little actors in Hollywood. After the tiny tyke took the stage on Jan. 17 at the Critics’ Choice Awards to accept the award for “Best Young Actor/Actress,” he danced the night away and believe us, he can really move!
Step aside, Bruno Mars, Jacob is making you look like a newbie. The young star hit the dance floor after his big win and really turned heads with his epic dance moves. His moves were showcased in a short clip uploaded on to his Instagram account with the caption: “Celebrating the #criticschoiceawards to my favorite jam!! When Jacob hit the stage to accept his award, a box had to be supplied to bring him in the vicinity of the microphone — seriously, he’s that small. It was the cutest thing to witness, because he still couldn’t reach the microphone and it had to be brought down to his level so he could make the speech. During his epic speech, he won the hearts of everyone when he stated, “I first want to say thank you to all the critics who voted for me. It must be a super-hard vote because of all the other great actors in this category.”
If that wasn’t cute enough, he also stated: “I think all of us working together made this movie come true. This award doesn’t just go to me for that, it goes to all of you as well. I also want to thank my parents and I love them very much.” But wait, there’s more. The CUTEST moment from that speech came at the end, he told the crowd: “I know where to put this. Right on my shelf next to my Millennium Falcon.” Someone give this kid an Oscar… STAT!
