1. Ann Perkins is back — sort of!
Since Parks & Recreation ended in 2015, I’ve been waiting for the beautiful and funny Rashida to return to TV. She had a role on Hulu’s The Awesomes, but there’s nothing like seeing the face Ann Perkins on my television screen. Well, Angie Tribeca gave me Rashida in all her glory, and it’s the perfect role for her!
2. It’s a goofy cop comedy.
Above all else, Angie Tribeca is fun. The show pokes fun at classic cop shows and is never afraid to go seriously goofy. That’s what is so great about Angie Tribeca, it doesn’t try to be something it’s not. It’s just a good time.
3. It’s created by the Carells!
If you love Steve Carell, you’re bound to love Angie Tribeca. The former Office star created the show with his wife, Nancy Carell. Steve can do no wrong, so Angie Tribeca was destined to be a hit!
4. You can watch all at once.
TBS is airing the a 25-hour nonstop marathon of the first season, starting on Jan. 17. Just like with Netflix, you can watch the show all at once. You don’t have to wait weeks and months for the next episodes!
5. The guest stars are KEY.
