T.J. Miller is hilarious, there’s no doubt about that. He was selected to host the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards and he didn’t disappoint. Click here to see his top five hilarious moments from the show!
The Critics’ Choice Awards was the place to be on Jan. 17, and it was one of the funniest awards shows this season thanks to Silicon Valley star T.J. Miller hosting. How did you think he did?
T.J. is known to be one of the best parts to the hit show, Silicon Valley — so obviously he was the perfect choice to host the Critics’ Choice Awards. Right from the jump T.J. had us laughing at his tribute to the year’s best films, including Straight Outta Compton and Mad Max: Fury Road.
We have to say, as soon as he stepped out on the stage with four life-sized puppets attached to him in a line, we knew it was going to be a weird intro. The poor guy really tried hard to get some laughs, but wound up becoming completely sweaty and was breathing pretty hard shortly into his speech.
I'll give TJ Miller a 6/10 for this opening. #CriticsChoice

Then there was the moment when T.J. gave himself an award for the greatest performance in a talking bear comedy. Yes, that happened. Thankfully, the music played him off before he could finish his speech. Or when T.J. brought out a ball gown gun and tried launching dresses into the audience — we lost it. He accidentally shot it into his own face — whoops. All in the name of comedy!
Prior to the show, the comedian joked that he had been receiving “death threats” about his hosting. It was hilarious. He posted a ton of funny ransom letters to his Twitter that would pure magic.
