Uh-oh, does Aaron Ramsey need to tone things down a notch on the soccer field?! A theory is spreading around the Internet like rapid-fire that the Arsenal player is cursed because he scored goals on the days before BOTH David Bowie and Alan Rickman’s tragic deaths. Yikes!
Is Aaron Ramsey, 25, a killer?! The Welsh soccer player has been playing great on the field lately, but unfortunately, some tragic events have unfolded on the days after he’s put the ball in the net recently. Could Aaron really have caused David Bowie and Alan Rickman’s deaths this week?!

Aaron scored a big goal in Arsenal’s 3-3 draw against Liverpool on Jan. 13, and just hours later, news broke that the beloved Harry Potter star had succumbed to his cancer at the age of 69. Just a coincidence, right? Maybe…until you look at the fact that Aaron also put a point up on the scoreboard on Jan. 9, one day before we lost one of the world’s most iconic singers and artists, also to cancer. Yikes.
This isn’t the first time there’s been a streak like this when it comes to Aaron, either. Back in 2011, he scored in a match against MUFC, and Osama Bin Laden was killed just four hours later. Steve Jobs died just three days after Aaron put up a goal, as well, and Whitney Houston was found dead eight hours after he scored in a Feb. 2012 game. Why are you doing this to us, Aaron!?
Now that news of this “curse” has spread around the Internet, fans are going crazy on Twitter, jokingly placing blame on Aaron for these sad deaths. Fans are even begging the 26-year-old not to go to his next match because they don’t want to lose another beloved star! Check out some of the best tweets we’ve found about it right here:
