Kendall Jenner is just like us! She was super nervous on her first day of high school, especially because of the acne that popped up seemingly overnight. We remember what that was like! See how she learned to deal with it, here.
Poor Kendall Jenner, 20! She may be a world-class supermodel now, but she had a rough time dealing with acne in high school just like everyone else! She shared her story of being nervous for her first day of high school, and dealing with pimples on her website. See what she said, here!
Kenny took to her website on Jan. 14 to share some pretty darn relatable stories about acne from high school. “I remember being really nervous for my first day of real high school,” writes the supermodel. “Right before I started, like the week before, is exactly when I started to get acne.” Uhg! That’s the absolutely worst. We can all remember how that felt. “All of a sudden, out of nowhere, it just started. I was so freaked out and just kept waiting for it to pass, but it never did.” You can buy Kendall’s book RIGHT HERE.
However, she did get a little lucky because her first day in high school was actually at the same place she went to middle school. “That’s because my school used to be divided between two campuses—one for high school and one for middle school,” explained the brunette beauty. “Then they built one giant campus for both, and when I got to 7th grade, we were the first middle school kids at the new campus. So, luckily, I was already familiar with the school.” Nice!
“Having all my friends from middle school with me made the day a little less scary—at least I wasn’t totally alone!” she said. And she also had a friend to help her with the acne – Dr. Christie Kidd. She works out of Beverly Hills, and Kendall teased a new video on her app where Christie will explain how to deal with acne like Kendall did, starting with a no-abrasive-cleansers rule.
This isn’t the first time she’s opened up about her acne battle. “I had such bad acne when I was younger,” she explained back in Oct. “It completely ruined my self-esteem. I wouldn’t even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face.” Poor baby! We’re so glad things are better now, she’s a supermodel and is dating a pop star. It gives us hope!
