Damn, it’s good to be an O’Neal! Just ask Shaq’s son Shareef, who was treated to an insane sweet 16 bash on Jan. 9 complete with luxury sports cars, famous rappers and one killer dessert table. Consider us officially jealous!
Now that’s what we call a super sweet 16! Shaquille O’Neal‘s son Shareef turned the big 1-6 on Jan. 9 and to celebrate the former NBA star threw him a bash he’ll likely never forget. We’re talking fancy cars, celeb guests and more! Get the details below!
The word “dope” doesn’t even begin to describe the epic party Shag threw for his son in Los Angeles on Jan. 9. The former Lakers star appeared to have pulled out at all the stops for the lucky teen as TMZ reports there were nearly 400 guests in attendance including Diddy‘s kids Quincy and Christian Combs. If that all weren’t cool enough, Shaq also arranged to have rap sensation Post Malone perform at the wild rager, which was said to have also included a giant candy bar where guests could stock up on copious amounts of sweets. Color us jealous!

Still, the most impressive aspect of the party had to have been the insane gifts that Shareef received from his parents. While most kids are lucky to get a beat up car for 16th birthdays, Shareef proved to be the luckiest kid in the world by receiving not only a suited up Jeep Wrangler, but also a brand new Lamborghini!
Clearly, Shareef was beyond thrilled with his fancy new gifts as he took to Instagram to flaunt one of his new whips. “HBD to me!!!” he wrote alongside a photo of himself posing next to the sleek blue sports car, which had be decorated with a giant white bow. Seriously, birthdays just don’t get much better than this!

While it helps that his father is one of basketball’s all-time greats, it looks like Shareef will be able to afford one of those fancy whips on his own soon enough. Unsurprisingly, the 6-foot-8 teen is an up-and-coming basketball star in his own right, and has already received offers to play at some pretty major Division 1 schools once he graduates. “I have offers from Baylor, LSU, UCLA, USC, and Kansas State,” Shareef told ScoutHoops.com back in November 2015. What can we say, like father, like son, right?
