Selena Gomez went for an understated beauty look with a killer smokey eye at the 2016 UNICEF Ball. Wearing a red leather dress with a plunging neckline and zipper detailing, Selena’s beauty look at the ball could just as easily have worked for a casual afternoon out.
Selena Gomez, 23, never has an off beauty day. The singer and actress attended Louis Vuitton‘s UNICEF Ball on January 12 in Beverly Hills with a stunningly simple hair and makeup look that focused on a bronze smokey eye and super shiny hair. Get the details on her latest look, below!

Taking a break from the tousled waves looks we’ve seen her in lately, the Pantene spokesmodel opted for a sleek blowout with soft movement and lots of shine. To get the look, add moisture and shine to your style by applying several pumps of Pantene Truly Natural Shine Serum + Argan Oil to your hair while it’s still damp and blow it out with a soft bend. If your hair is particularly dry or coarse, you can add more of the serum post-blowout for all day shine.
Selena’s makeup look was pared-down, too, with clean skin and a neutral balm on her lips. A bronze smokey eye, black kohl liner and layers of black mascara completed the look and added a little something extra to her more casual beauty look at the UNICEF Ball. To easily get the look, use a palette like Benefit’s Big Beautiful Eyes, which comes with every eyeshadow color you need.

The UNICEF/Louis Vuitton event was also attended by celebs like model Miranda Kerr and actress Nicole Kidman, and was also hosted by Heidi Klum and David Beckham. The humanitarian organization, which provides aid to underprivileged kids globally, is one that Selena is heavily involved with.
The “Hands To Myself” singer posted a picture alongside Louis Vuitton’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière with the caption: “So happy @louisvuittonand @nicolasghesquiere are partnering with @unicef -I’ve been an ambassador since I was 17, met Nicolas last year. SO grateful for the worlds to collide for a great cause.”
