‘Pretty Little Liars’ is back, but we didn’t even need to watch the midseason premiere to know it was going to be major. Before everyone’s favorite liars headed back to Rosewood, Ashley Benson showed off a bold lip and smokey eye makeup combo so good you’re going to want to copy it, ASAP.
Ashley Benson, 26, made it kind of hard to care about A when all we could concentrate on was her purple toned smokey eye and coral lip. It’s the makeup color combo we never knew we needed (or even really thought would work), but now we’re totally obsessed. Keep reading for the exact how-to on the whole look, straight from Ashley’s makeup artist!

Makeup artist Hung Vanngo was behind Ashley’s latest look, and he shared the product-by-product details on Instagram so we can copy it this weekend. For the base, Hung prepped with a moisturizer before applying Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow Primer for a lit-from-within glow and Burt’s Bees BB Cream for lightweight coverage. To cover up dark circles and any signs of imperfection, Hung used NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, and he set the whole base with Benefit Get Even Pressed Powder.
To add a bit of warmth to Ashley’s skin and create a slight contour, Hung used Tom Ford Bronzing Powder in Terra and added a pop of color to her cheeks with CK One Color Cream + Powder Blush Duo in Happiness. For more highlight on her cheekbones, bridge of the nose and brow bones, Hung used Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Gleam before focusing on the eyes.
‘Pretty Little Liars’ Premiere Makeup — Copy Ashley Benson’s Smokey Eye & Coral Lip
To keep the smokey eye from taking over her whole face, Hung created slightly overexaggerated brows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer (he used the Taupe shade). For Ashley’s two-toned smokey eye, Hung used the CK One Color Neutrals Redefined Palette, concentrating the darkest shade on Ashley’s lids and the eggplant color along her lower lash line and smudged out for drama. After lining her eyes with the Kevyn Aucoin Precision Eye Definer in Ironclad, Hung curled her lashes and applied Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara in Excessive Black.
Ashley sported the look with a nude lip during the day when the cast started out with an appearance on Good Morning America. But later that night, she added even more drama with a bright coral lip. To get the perfect shade, Hung lined and filled her lips with the Lancome Le Crayon Lip Pencil in Coral and applied CK One Color Pure Color Lipstick in Bite Me on top.
How amazing did Ashley look? Did you catch the season premiere, HollywoodLifers?
