Katy Perry headed to the Stella McCartney Fall 2016 presentation in LA on Jan. 12, and she rocked a seriously bizarre look. We love Katy and everything she brings to the table, especially when it comes to style, but this look may just be a little too much for us to handle. What do you guys think of her look? VOTE.
Katy Perry, 31, donned an unusual outfit at the Stella McCartney Fall 2016 Collection Presentation at Amoeba Music in Hollywood on Jan. 12. The pop sensation is known for her quirky style, and while she usually pulls it off, we think this look may be just a bit too much. What did you guys think of her outfit? VOTE.
Katy is so much fun and unique, which truly shines through her style. She has pulled some major fashion risks from time to time and we let them slide because she pulled it off and she was just being herself. However, we absolutely cannot pardon this outfit. It looks like she was playing in her grandma’s closet and tried on all of her clothes from years past.
Ok, so, let’s break this down because there is a lot going on. First, she donned a long-sleeve blue and yellow peasant dress with brown cats all over it — fine. The dress is cute and fun and should have been worn on it’s own.
Next. She donned a huge, cream fur coat, which she draped over her shoulders. Now things are getting a little wild but we’ll still let this slide only because we love fur.
Moving on. She topped this entire look off with a velvet green turban, which is so beyond the beyonds, because it does not go with one thing she is wearing — we don’t even have anything else to say about that. Black strappy sandals and a cream and black quilted clutch accessorized this look as well.
Katy told our sister site, WWD, at the event, “Actually my next stop is [vintage store] Wasteland to trade these clothes in.” She obviously told them she was kidding afterwards, but we sort of feel like maybe she should’ve gone straight to Wasteland after.
This is just how we feel — you may really like this look. Either way, we want to know! VOTE & let us know what you think.
