Emmy looked drop-dead-gorgeous at the awards. Her old-Hollywood makeup and hair was so on point, we can’t get enough of it. Thanks to Jo Baker, we now know how to get Emmy’s exact look. “Cat eye and a red lip combo have been around for decades so the way I made this feel modern and fresh is by allowing the two colors black and red to feel uncomplicated. No eyeshadow, no extra shimmer on the face just the bold liner and red lip – super sexy and ultra feminine,” she said.
Ok, let’s start with the best part of her look — her bright lips! For the grand finale, Rimmel London’s new lipstick, The Only One, in the shade, Best of the Best. It is such a deep red with a matte finish and it completed her entire look. The best part is, the lipstick is only $12, which is such a steal! We have a feeling this is going to be our savior all winter long!
Aside from her crimson lip, it was her bold brows that made this look complete. Jo used Rimmel London Brow This Way clear brow gel to tame any unruly hairs and keep them in place.
We can’t forget about Emmy’s long voluminous lashes, either! Jo chose a mascara that would “keep her lashes feathery and nicely curled for hours.” So, she opted for Rimmel London SuperCurler 24hr Mascara, which gives off “a dramatic even curl that can last for up to 24hrs.” Jo provided an expert tip, “I recommend turning the mascara wand vertically and using the point to apply further mascara near the root of your lashes to increase volume and further lift!”
