The Beast arrived in Beacon Hills on the Jan. 12 episode of ‘Teen Wolf,’ and it’s not messing around — at all. Plus, Scott and Stiles made up and Kira returned!
Teen Wolf introduced it’s biggest and deadliest villain yet — The Beast. On the Jan. 12 episode, The Beast started wreaking havoc in Beacon Hills, Theo and Scott came to an understanding, Stiles and Scott vowed to get the pack back, and Kira made her long-awaited return!
Hayden’s sister went looking in some suspicious warehouse, only to find someone dead. He was COVERED in blood. It wasn’t just any killer — it was The Beast. The Beast ran outside, coming face-to-face with Hayden and Liam. Instinctively, they ran, with The Beast not far behind. Liam ended up hanging from a cliff, and he pulled Hayden over to save her life! Side note: Why do these people go into scary places WITHOUT BACKUP?
Liam woke up to Hayden punching him in the face to make sure he was still alive. Liam had broken his back, and it was taking a little longer to heal. Hayden just straight up walked away. Liam was stunned. He saved her life, but she didn’t see it that way. She revealed that Theo saved her the last time, and Liam was very interested as to how he did that.
Scott went to the scene of the crime with Parrish. The blood was still EVERYWHERE. Scott quickly realized that The Beast was just out to kill and that Parrish’s dream of all the dead people at the nemeton was becoming very real.
Survival & Murder
Stiles was still in the hospital, but when he woke up, Stilinski was gone. He found his dad at the basement looking at Donovan’s body in the morgue. Stilinski knew what happened in the library and couldn’t understand why Stiles didn’t come to him with the truth. Stiles felt like he couldn’t tell anyone. Stilinski wanted Stiles to know he could always come to him. Stilinski admitted he would get rid of all the evidence if it meant Stiles was protected. Stiles was so conflicted over the whole thing — it wasn’t entirely self-defense. Stilinski didn’t care what it was. He just wanted his son safe.
Stilinski said Stiles’ mind was saying it was survival, but his heart was saying it was murder. His heart just needed to catch up to his head. Stiles believed he lost something when he killed Donovan. Stilinski stressed that he probably wouldn’t ever get what he felt he lost back, but Stiles had to forgive himself. If he couldn’t do that right now, he could forgive Scott.
Speaking of Scott, he went to Malia for help. He said she was the only one of the pack he had left. (Not quite, Scott!) Malia turned down his offer. She was busy working with Braeden! Um, where is Derek? They were trying to get info on the Desert Wolf from this random guy. Apparently, she wasn’t traveling alone — she had Deaton!
Hello Again, Old Friend
Liam just had a feeling something was up with Hayden. Mason offered up the idea that maybe Hayden and the rest of undead peeps were just evil now. Mason tried getting the scoop from Corey on what was up, and he was so darn awkward about it. It didn’t help that Corey acted totally normal.
Later, Hayden was at the police station and had a little chat with Theo. She revealed she saw The Beast from the painting. When he asked if there was anything else, she was tight-lipped. Theo basically threatened her and told her that she should never hide things from him. Dude, Cody Christian is SO GOOD.
Stiles was in major investigative mode again. He found the footage of The Beast and was immediately intrigued. He headed straight to Scott’s to talk about it. After everything that had happened. it was like nothing had happened between them. They were a team again. Their next mission: The Beast.
Poor Lydia was still stuck in Eichen House. In some crazy dream, she watched as someone in black goo crawled out of the bathtub. It was MEREDITH! Wait, what?!
Corey was trying to get back a little bit of normalcy in his life, but Theo wanted him to know that he didn’t have to be normal — or nice. He also dropped the bomb that he and and his pack were going to protect Scott and the others. They weren’t out to get Scott. Later, Mason told Liam to go to Scott about what was happening with Theo’s new pack. Liam wasn’t sure Scott would even want to talk to him after nearly killing him.
Mason said he could start by saying sorry. He went to the animal clinic to talk to Scott, and Hayden showed up. She said nothing felt right except him. She almost walked away, but Liam pulled her back for a sweet kiss!
Getting The Pack Back
Stiles and Scott went back to the warehouse to find The Beast’s point of entry. They discovered “Damnatio Memoraie” written on the ground. Tracy showed up and incapacitated poor Stiles. Oh no she didn’t! Scott fought off Tracy and Corey pretty easily before Theo showed up. He revealed their packs needed to work together now to take down The Beast. They would act like normal teenagers during the day, vigilantes at night.
Some random nurse at Eichen House was not a fan of Lydia’s and believed she was faking everything. Meredith told Lydia she needed to wake up. She needed to help her friends or they would all die. Meredith was going to teach her how to use her voice as a weapon.
Meanwhile, Argent showed up to Gerard’s place to bring him a flower. Gerard fell to the floor and ate it. Weird. He knew about The Beast, too. It was here to end life wherever and whenever. But Scott wasn’t going to give up without a fight. Scott and Stiles came together and vowed to get the pack back together.
After months, Kira finally returned to our screens again! Kira and her mom were fighting off skinwalkers. Not sure what or who they are, but they looked scary. Just find your way back to Beacon Hills, Kira. Okay, thanks.
