Kate Winslet always does red carpet beauty right. At the 73rd annual Golden Globes, the actress looked beautiful with her hair styled in a side updo and soft makeup look. Keep reading for the breakdown on Kate’s look!
Kate Winslet, 40, was radiant as she accepted her Best Supporting Actress Golden Globe for her role as Joanna Hoffman in Steve Jobs. Dressed in a navy Ralph Lauren gown, Kate’s hair was styled off the shoulders to show off the neckline on her gown, and her makeup was soft and elegant.
Renato Campora created Kate’s hair look for the night, working with Fekkai hair products. To get the look, Renato started by applying Fekkai Blowout Sealing Serum to the ends of Kate’s hair while it was still wet. While her hair was still damp, Renato applied Fekkai Full Blown Volume Lightweight Styling Whip throughout Kate’s hair to give it more volume. To maintain volume and boost shine, Renato blew Kate’s hair out with a round brush before styling.
Using a 1-inch curling iron, Renato loosely curled Kate’s hair and gently brushed them out after allowing them to set for 10 minutes. To add texture, he sprayed Fekkai Blowout Hair Refresher Dry Shampoo throughout Kate’s hair. For her asymmetrical updo, Renato braided the bottom of Kate’s hair before rolling it under at the nape of the neck and pinning it into a side bun. To lock the look in place, he sprayed it with Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray.

As a Lancome spokesmodel, Kate’s makeup artist (and Global Creative Director for the brand), Lisa Eldridge, worked exclusively with Lancome products. The look was understated, but looked completely flawless.
For the look, Lisa kept Kate’s skin clean, giving her pale pink cheeks and a frosty pink lipstick. To complete her makeup, Lisa created a soft smokey eye with lengthened lashes.
