The season one finale of ‘UnREAL’ was straight-up bonkers. Adam and Rachel’s romance was short-lived, but is their story really over? Rejoice, Rachel and Adam shippers, because there’s a chance Adam will return in season two!
The first season of UnREAL was just that — unreal. Everyone is already pumped for season two, and there’s a strong possibility that fan favorite and Everlasting bachelor Adam could be back for the second season! Is there hope for Adam and Rachel’s relationship?

UnREAL’s co-creator Sarah Gertrude Shapiro told our sister site TVLine that “there might be” a chance that Freddie Stroma returns as the hunky Adam from season one. “We always look at the story from the Rachel/Quinn point of view and just ask, ‘Do they still have feelings in their heart? Is there still story left?’ And definitely, Adam and Rachel did not resolve their story,” she said in the interview.
Yeah, that’s an understatement. Rachel left Adam at the altar during his very public wedding to Anna. Adam and Rachel had chemistry for days, so it was very surprising to see their short relationship come to a screeching halt. We love them together!
Season two is going where no show (ahem, The Bachelor) has gone before. Rachel and Quinn are going bigger and bolder with Everlasting this time around. “We have an African-American suitor, so they make sure that they have a Southern apologist girl, who believes that the Confederate flag is really about states’ rights,” Sara told EW. “There’s a Black Lives Matter activist, who doesn’t really want to be on the show. They get a Jew-y hipster girl from Brooklyn who’s maybe a blogger. We have a sportscaster — she actually is the daughter of a guy who owns the NFL franchise, so we just have a stack [ready] to totally explode.”
UnREAL season 2 will return to Lifetime in the summer of 2016. Catch up on UnREAL by signing up for Amazon Prime for free now!
