If there’s anyone who doubted if Taylor Swift can sing well live…here’s your proof. She gave an epic, stripped down performance of her hit ‘Blank Space’ at a private event in September and FINALLY released the video on Jan. 7. Check it out right here!
As if we didn’t already love Taylor Swift, 26, enough…she just went out and totally slayed it once again. In this video from her performance at the Grammys Museum in September, the absolutely kills an acoustic version of her No. 1 hit “Blank Space,” and you’ll want to watch it over and over…and over!
Although this appearance took place more than three months ago — it was in honor of the record-breaking attendance at her exhibit in the museum — Tay has been releasing new performance videos from the event one by one. “Blank Space” is the latest to get uploaded, and she made the song sound totally new and refreshing with this stripped down version: Just her, the guitar and her voice. Perfection!
Even though the 26-year-old is taking a break from the spotlight now that her 1989 tour is over, this video is just one of the ways she’s making sure people don’t forget about her. She recently released “Out of the Woods” as her fifth single from 1989, and even debuted the video on New Year’s Eve — and it totally had everyone talking thanks to some clear references to the song’s famous subject, Harry Styles, 21.
Most importantly, though, the singer has been spending a LOT of time with her man, Calvin Harris, 31, since returning to the U.S. from Australia in December. The DJ vacationed with the Swifts to the mountains for Christmas, and then Tay was photographed supporting him during his New Year’s Eve performance in Las Vegas. And our hearts all totally melted when we saw the PDA photos of them dancing in the club — so sweet! Although the pair have denied that they’re moving in together just yet, it’s clear things have gotten pretty serious.
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Taylor’s acoustic performance?!
