Hold up! UFC fighter Conor McGregor may have gone too far as he’s currently under investigation for a gun violation. The champ posted a pic of someone pointing a rifle out of a car window — question is whether it’s Conor in the shot or not!
Conor McGregor, 27, may be able to hold his own in the ring, but court is a whole different story. The UFC star is being looked at by police after he posted an Instagram of someone wearing a ski mask and pointing a gun out the window of a car. Is Conor about to face some serious trouble?
On Jan. 8, the mixed martial artist uploaded the picture of the gun bearer sitting in what appears to be his white sports car. Cops in Ireland, where the fighter is from, are digging further into the picture as having a gun out in public is a no joking matter.
While one can’t tell with complete certainty that it’s Conor himself holding the gun, if it is, then he’s definitely in some trouble with the law. In Ireland there are very strict gun laws and civilian weapons are permitted only for hunting or agriculture, with a license. Dublin officials confirmed they’re checking in on the details of the picture now.
Luckily for Conor, there’s a chance that the firearm in the post is actually just an Airsoft pellet gun. Last week, the fighting star posted multiple videos of himself shooting at a target in his house. The toy he uses in the clips is clearly an Airsoft gun as he jokingly says “shoot to kill” before firing off a few pellets. Still though, even in Ireland, having an Airsoft gun in public can mean a violation. Oh boy, Conor!
