Shay was the definition of a QUEEN on the red carpet, with her long, dark locks slicked back with a middle part, letting her gorgeous face do all the talking. The actress’ makeup artist, Mary Phillips, went all out on Shay’s eye makeup, using the Armani Eyes to Kill in #10 Mirage for a smoked out look, Lancome Le Stylo Waterproof Liner along her upper and lower lashline and Lancome Grandiose Mascara for bold lashes.
But, most importantly, can we talk about how PERFECT Shay’s skin among all those flashing lights on the red carpet?! Lucky for us, Mary revealed on Instagram the “secret weapon” to the whole look: Giorgio Armani Maestro Glow! With the help of the BeautyBlender to smooth and even everything out, the 28-year-old’s complexion just could not be beat!
Hairstylist Chris Appleton left Shay’s long, dark hair loose, giving it a right-on-trend sleek, wet finish. Working with Matrix, Chris used the StyleLink Smooth Setter to tame frizz (which was especially necessary since it’s been so rainy in LA). Chris straightened Shay’s hair in small sections to get it as smooth as possible, then parted it down the middle before finishing with the StyleLink Gloss Booster and StyleLink Style Fixer Finishing Hairspray for shine and hold.
It’s a big night at the PCA’s for Shay — she’s nominated in the Favorite Cable TV Actress category for her role as Emily Fields on Pretty Little Liars! She’ll be up against some tough competition, though, including two of her co-stars, Lucy Hale and Ashley Benson (who also attended the event). Naturally, PLL is up for its own award, too, nominated in the Best Cable TV Drama category, which it’s won every single year since 2012 — no big deal!
HollywoodLifers, what do you think of Shay’s beauty look?!
