Ohhh boy. One Direction is biting back at Justin Bieber’s diss about getting their start on ‘X Factor’, and a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that they think the statement is absolute ‘rubbish’. See what else they had to say, here!
After Justin Bieber, 21, said that he’s famous for his talent, which is better than being “put together on X Factor” on Jan. 6, the One Direction boys aren’t thrilled. A source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that they guys think the diss is “rubbish.” Here’s what else they said about the pop star’s morning show statement.
Uh oh, Justin has awakened the beast that is One Direction when they’re pissed. The guys aren’t pleased that Justin said something that felt like a minor diss on The Bert Show on Jan. 6. “I think people understand and know I was found on YouTube for my talent and not put together on X-Factor or something like that,” he quipped, before quickly trying to say he didn’t mean anything by it. Mmmmkay Justin. Well, the guys took it as a diss, and they don’t think it’s cool.
“Niall and gang think that Justin will say anything to make himself look good and by taking a shot at them they think it is rubbish,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. But while the gang is mildly annoyed, it’s unlikely they’ll say anything publicly about it. “If anyone is going to respond, it will be Niall or Liam and most likely on social media. But they even have talked about not taking it to his level.”
The thing is, the guys may think it’s stupid, but they aren’t letting it affect them. “Harry is not bothered by it and Louis isn’t as well as they don’t think about Justin Bieber whatsoever throughout their day,” the source explained to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “They all know what he said and think its nonsense and are certain they will be asked about it eventually. It is just an unfortunate thing to have to worry about so they are trying to let it pass but they do think it was pretty stupid of him to say that.”
1D is right. Justin may have thought better of the comment and tried to take it back, but who else could he have been referring to? He could have said “I’d rather be discovered on YouTube than a reality show” and left it at that, but he went so far as to say “put together on X Factor.” That seems like kind of a direct jab at the guys in our eyes.
