Is Kristen Stewart trading in her signature grunge look for something a little more classic? The actress sported beachy waves for the second time in a week, and she paired the pretty hairstyle with an understated, shimmery makeup look. Find out how you can copy her new style.
Kristen Stewart, 25, attended the National Board of Review Gala on January 5 in NYC showing off a more feminine look. Naturally, the Chanel spokesmodel chose a design from the fashion house, wearing a sheer white dress that was adorned with white bows and pearls. To match her simple yet stunning dress, KStew traded in her slicked back hair and kohl-rimmed eyes for classic waves and a soft shimmer of eyeshadow.
Harry Josh was behind KStew’s latest look, and the hairstylist who specializes in the glam waves we love so much on the Victoria Secret models has been working with Kristen quite often as of late. The tousled waves he styled Kristen’s bob into for the National Board of Review Gala marks the second time in a week that she wore a more polished style.
To copy the look, apply a volumizing product like John Frieda Root Booster Blow Dry Lotion to your hair while it’s still damp and blow dry it completely. Create beachy waves by working with small sections and alternating the way you curl them around a wand like the Harry Josh 2-In-1 Ceramic Marcel Curling Iron. Use your fingers to break up the curls and finish with a good misting of hairspray.
Kristen Stewart’s Beachy Waves — Copy Her Understated Beauty Look
Makeup artist Linda Hay toned down Kristen’s usual heavy smokey and thickly lined eye makeup with a soft shimmer of neutral shadow and the thinnest lines of eyeliner to really make her eyes pop. Defined lashes and a soft pink lip completed her pretty look.
To copy her eyeshadow, use the Chanel Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow in Tisse Rivoli, concentrating the lighter shades on the lid and inner corner and the darker brown color along your crease and outer corners of your eye.
What do you think of KStew’s latest beauty look? Do you prefer her understated look, or are you waiting for her grunge style to come back?
