The dancing queen shimmered like the star she is at the PCAs! Julianne Hough looked beyond amazing in a skin-tight sequin dress with a slicked bun and soft smokey eye. Get the details on her award show look!
Julianne Hough, 27, looked amazing at the People’s Choice Awards on Jan. 6. Held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Calif. Julianne really stood out as having one of the best beauty looks of the night as she attended with her Grease: Live co-stars, Vanessa Hudgens, Keke Palmer, Carly Rae Jepsen and Kether Donohue. Jules is set to play the lead role of Sandy, and we’re thinking she’s already channeling everyone’s favorite good-girl-gone-bad with this form-fitting dress.
When it came to hair and makeup, Jules’ look was all about understated elegance. The Dancing With The Stars alum (and current judge) ditched the stage makeup for a more fresh-faced look. Makeup artist Spencer Barnes worked with Julianne for the PCAs, giving her a neutral brown smokey eye and pretty glossy pink lip.
For her hair, Julianne turned to her BFF and stylist Riawna Capri for a sleek and structured top knot. The super-slicked-back style and the knot set above the crown of Jules’ head gave the go-to style a more modern and dressed up twist perfect for the award show.

Julianne recently revealed on her website that her favorite mascara is under $10! She wrote: “New product alert! Avon recently launched their Big & False Lash Volume Mascara and I just had to give it a whirl. After a long day of rehearsals and meetings, snuggling in bed with my dogs sounded like a dream except I had big dinner plans with my girlfriends. Not wanting to look as snooze-deprived as I felt, I went for a fresh dewy face with big, bold lashes. The full lash look made my eyes appear wide and bright. It really added length to my lashes and goes on smoothly without any clumps! Mission accomplished!”
She continued: “When it comes to getting all dolled up, I go for voluminous lashes that stand out. When it comes to consciously shopping, I go for responsible companies that do good. I appreciate Avon for more than their ability to beautify. As a company they stand for something that transcends beauty.”
We love that Julianne adores affordable beauty products. Did you love her look at the PCAs?
