She swiped right! Turns out that Amy Schumer found her new beau, Ben Hanisch, on a dating app and she’s the one who pursued him. The popular app Bumble can be credited for bringing the funny lady and furniture maker together. Looks like it really is possible to find love in a hopeless place!
Anyone who uses apps like Bumble or Tinder knows that the chances of coming across a real winner are pretty slim. Amy Schumer, 34, proves all of our suspicions wrong though after meeting her new boy toy, Ben Hanish, 29, on a dating app. Good thing she didn’t swipe left because the two make an adorable pair!
Bumble may know us better than we know ourselves! It doesn’t seem like the hilarious comedian would be a match for a custom furniture designer from Chicago, but looks like the app knows best. Ben made a profile in early 2015 and sources have confirmed to E! News that the two met while perusing possible dates as they swiped on their phone screens.
For all of the non tech savvy Amy fans out there, Bumble is a new service that matches people after they choose one another based on their profiles. Then, the women have the option of whether they message their hunky hits or not. Unlike Tinder and other similar apps, the girls have all the power! Obviously Amy put that power to use and landed herself a hottie.
