Making A Murderer has taken the world by storm, revealing a side of the court we have never seen and questioning whether or not Steven Avery really committed the murder that has him in jail for life. However, Late Night with Seth Meyers decided to take the story and make it into a hilarious video, that well, will make you laugh out loud. Thanks, Seth Meyers.

“You gotta come back,” an NBC staff member says to Seth on a phone call. Naturally Seth reminds him he’s only been out for two weeks (“but two weeks I’ve been gone”) on vacation, but it’s time to return. “They don’t got no more reruns,” the voice says into the phone before Seth asks for a reminder of what time the show is actually on. With that, a photo of a bearded Seth is shown on screen. “12:35,” the staffer says. “God, that’s late,” he responds. Basically, it’s hysterical.
Of course, the case is a very serious matter, and people are very aware. Nearly 300,000 people have signed two petitions — one sent to Change.org and another sent to the White House — demanding that Steven’s case be reopened and that he be exonerated for his charges. Filmmakers Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos went on the Today show on Jan. 5 and revealed that a juror from the case reached out and told them “they believe Steven Avery was not proven guilty.”
“They believe Steven was framed by law enforcement and that he deserves a new trial, and if he receives a new trial, in their opinion it should take place far away from Wisconsin,” Laura said. “What they told us was that they feared for their personal safety.” So, will the case be reopened? That’s not yet determined.
