Manchester City is currently third in the Premier League standings, behind Arsenal and Leicester City. Watford is in ninth place. Manchester City is definitely going to want to beat Watford to stay at the top of the rankings.
Unfortunately, Watford will be playing without defender Nathan Ake, who starts a three-game ban. Tommie Hoban and Joel Ekstrand will also not be playing due to past injuries. Oh no!
That’s good news for Manchester City. Fabian Delph and Gael Clichy will hit the field for the team after missing the game against Leicester City. Fernando will also be back after missing 5 games because of a hamstring injury.
The last time Manchester City and Watford played was on Aug. 29, 2015. Manchester City is unbeaten against Watford in the last eight games they’ve played against each other. Manchester City beat Watford 2-0 in their last match-up. However, Manchester City hasn’t been doing so well on the road. Watford is definitely going to be out for vengeance this time around!
