This is absolutely terrifying. Passengers aboard the Carnival Ecstasy cruise ship witnessed blood pouring from an elevator like a ‘waterfall’ as they headed to dinner and it was all caught on video.
This is truly disturbing. A passenger named Matt Davis was with his wife and kids on board the Carnival Ecstasy cruise ship in hopes of a fun holiday vacation, instead he describes it as the “nightmare after Christmas.” That’s because an electrician, Jose Sandoval Opazo, 66, was working on the elevator when something went very wrong, causing him to become crushed.
Matt filmed the bloody scene on the ship’s 10th floor and described the bloody scene for local news Fox 4: “To look and see the elevator with just blood coming down like a sheet, and not stopping… it was a real life scene of The Shining.”
Matt claims there was also someone in the elevator so he ran through the stream of blood to help that person out. He says that workers on board the ship were trying to steer passengers to dinner and that’s when they put up a sign saying the elevator was “out of order.” He claims he heard from someone on the ship that it was a worker who was killed but no official explanation was provided. It’s still unclear what caused Jose’s death but this is absolutely terrifying for all involved.
HollywoodLifers, our thoughts go out to Jose’s family and friends during this difficult time.
