So scary! Rob Kardashian has endured quite a health drama and its turned into a wake up call that he totally needs to overhaul his life. After being rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with diabetes, he’s going to need lose a lot of weight before his condition worsens!
Poor Rob Kardashian. The reclusive 29-year-old former reality star was admitted to the hospital over Christmas weekend after falling ill. He got quite the shock when test results came back that his blood sugar levels were through the roof and he’s developed adult onset diabetes! Now doctors are begging him to lose the reported 100 pounds he’s packed on in the last year and get out of the house and exercise if he wants to keep the condition under control.
“Rob was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after not feeling well over the holiday weekend. Once his condition seemed to worsen, he was taken to the doctor to see what was going on. After performing various tests, doctors explained that Rob’s health needs to be a priority,” E! News reports.
“He’s home already. He went [to the hospital] for a little and is fine now. It was a wake up call,” the source tells the network. The insider adds that, “Rob’s tests revealed his blood sugar levels were very high, and doctors told him that he needs to lose weight, exercise and dramatically change his diet, or it will get worse.”
Rob has been virtually unseen for ages now, as the last time he was photographed was seven months ago. He’s long ditched his family’s reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians and has even been the butt of cruel jokes by family members. In a July interview with Rolling Stone, sister Kim Kardashian said that,“It’s not that mysterious what’s happening with Rob. He has gained weight. He feels uncomfortable being on the show, and that’s okay. Do I think he smokes weed, drinks beer, hangs out and plays video games with his friends all day long? Yes.” But then she dropped quite a zinger when she was asked if she wasn’t sure he was into harder drugs like meth. “No, no. Or he’d be skinny!” she joked. OUCH! That’s definitely not so funny now.
HollywoodLifers, do you think Rob will make the necessary life changes to control his diabetes?
