Months after we thought the Drake and Meek Mill feud was over, Meek decided to start it back up again with a violent diss track. An insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY on Dec. 28 that Drake isn’t worried about Meek’s ‘lame threats’. See why he thinks they’re a ‘joke’ here!
Uh oh! Looks like Meek Mill, 28, just can’t let go of his beef with Drake, 29. Once again, Meek unleashed on his girl Nicki Minaj’s best friend on Dec. 28 with a concerning new diss track. However, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Drake isn’t phased by the “lame threats.” See why, right here.
Get over it, Meek! Months after Meek faced a brutal and decisive loss in a rap feud with Drake that he started by saying he doesn’t write his own raps, Meek is opening up old wounds in a new track leaked on Dec. 28. The track is from the highly anticipated (mostly for this exact reason) mixtape DreamChasers 4, and includes some pretty disturbing lyrics. You can buy Drake’s album RIGHT HERE.
“When I was saying sh** about the rhymes you ain’t wrote, I can’t wait till we run into ya, I’ma put a gun in ya,” Woah, woah, woah, Meek. Take it easy! Neither he nor Drake pretends to be a hard type of guy, definitely not predisposed to violence. While it’s pretty serious for Meek to actually threaten Drake, he doesn’t seem concerned. “For Drake, when it comes to Meek Mill, he thinks he is a complete joke,” the source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
“He feels that Meek should worry about making himself a success on his own merits instead of trying to diss him to make himself look good,” the source continued EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com. “Talking a big game and doing varying diss tracks against Drake is only making Drake laugh about everything and he thinks all the stuff that Meek is doing and has been doing is all just lame threats.”
Drake has a point. The last time they went toe-to-toe in the rap game, Drake crushed Meek with not one but two awesome tracks that he pumped out in just a couple of days! Now, maybe Meek thinks since he’s had more time he’ll actually have a chance at taking on Drake, but Drake isn’t giving him the time of day. Not to mention Meek was just found guilty of violating his probation a week before the song leaked, which he was on because of drugs and firearms. So maybe lay low for a bit, huh buddy?
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Does Meek Mill have a chance in a rematch with Drake, or should he just stay quiet? Let us know in the comments!
