In case you were wondering why the lovely Kardashian/Jenner ladies didn’t appear on their annual Christmas card, HollywoodLife.com has your EXCLUSIVE answers! Read on to find out why all the adults in the family were absent from the yearly photo.
The annual Kardashian family Christmas card is a work to behold, usually so very elaborate and elegant. But for 2015, they went WAY simple, with just the family’s grandchildren — minus newborn Saint West — dressed in black and set against a minimalist white backdrop. Where was the rest of the famous family? HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned the reason why it just didn’t come together for adults in the clan.
“Kris was trying to arrange the shoot back at the beginning of November. Kim was still pregnant and Scott and Kourtney were barely speaking, he was in rehab at the time,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. We can totally see why Kim opted out as she made it very clear how she hated every minute of her pregnancy and how it made her feel fat and gross.
“Kris and Caitlyn are doing much better but it’s a work in progress. They’ve made a lot of strides but it’s not perfect and Kris wasn’t ready to be posing with her ex on their Christmas card, it just didn’t feel right to her,” our insider continues. Not even the photographer situation was able to come together as she’s hoped. “Kris was talking about getting David LaChapelle or Terry Richardson to shoot the card but they threw in the towel before they even got to that stage.” Yikes, what a mess. So it was the grandkids to the rescue for the annual card, and it couldn’t have turned out more adorable. “Kardashians: The Next Generation” is the theme of the family’s annual holiday card, which featured North West, 2, Mason Disick, 6, Penelope Disick, 3, and Reign Disick, 1. The kids all look precious and the message of “All you need is love” is the sweetest thing ever. So maybe things actually worked out for the best not having the adults around for the card this year!
