Brooke’s acting career didn’t really take off after the film, so he made a name for himself by appearing at horror conventions all over the world. He was so ingrained in the horror community that his family released their statement on his passing to IHorror.com. They said that he “passed away December 22, 2015 from the genetic liver condition alpha-1-antitrypsin deficiency. Brooke was our loving son, brother, father, cousin, nephew and friend. Funeral arrangements are still being finalized. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.” So heartbreaking.
Brooke had recently made a return to acting after a 20-year hiatus, appearing in the 2009 film The Uh-Oh! Show and had just filmed Emerging Past, which is currently in post-production. At least his family, friends, and fans will get to enjoy one last performance of Brooke’s. Our prayers are with them during this harrowing time.
