Over the past year, Hollywood has had to say goodbye to countless celebrities, young and old. It’s time to remember those we lost in 2015.
From Bobbi Kristina Brown to Leonard Nimoy to Caleb Logan, the world lost a number of celebrities in 2015. These people touched countless lives while they were alive, and their spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Bobbi Kristina died on July 26 after spending nearly 7 months in a coma. She was found unresponsive in her bathtub in Jan. 2015 and never recovered. Bobbi’s passing came over three years after mom Whitney Houston’s tragic death. Bobbi was buried next to her mother in New Jersey.
Football star and the husband of Kathie Lee Gifford, Frank Gifford, died in Aug. 2015 at the age of 84. He died of natural causes, but Kathie donated his brain to studying CTE, a brain disease linked to football. YouTube star Caleb tragically passed away in Oct. 2015 at the young age of 13. He died from an “undetected medical condition” called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
The American Horror Story family lost two cast members this year. Ben Woolf, who played Meep on AHS: Freak Show, died in Feb. 2015 after being hit by a car. Ten months later, Rose Siggins, who played Legless Suzi on Freak Show, died after contracting an infection in the hospital.
Legendary musician B.B. King passed away in May 2015, two weeks after he was put in home hospice care. Wes Craven, the famous director of Scream and The Nightmare on Elm Street, lost his battle to brain cancer in Aug. 2015. Iconic New York Yankees catcher Yogi Berra died in Sept. 2015 at the age of 90.
