Martin O’Malley came out at the third democratic debate with guns blazing, ready to jump in and give GOP frontrunner Donald Trump a piece of his mind! You hear that Donald, Martin thinks you’re a ‘fascist with a big mouth!’ Click through to watch his rant!
Martin O’Malley, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders faced off again to vie for the 2016 presidency at the third Democratic debate on Saturday, December 19, but Martin wasn’t interested in beating them; he’s going for the white whale himself, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump! In an impassioned plea to his audience, Martin describes Donald as a “fascist billionaire with a big mouth.” Woah! We’re getting closer and closer to naming a nominee, and the debate was expected to be cutthroat — but nobody expected this! Click through to watch!
“I’ll never surrender to the fascist pleas of a billionaire with a big mouth,” Martin promises during the debate, presumably talking about Donald. You know, the billionaire with a penchant for aggressive, insane soundbites whom a lot of people are comparing to a fascist? That guy!
Media coverage of the debate has focused largely on Donald and his absurd campaign promises (like promising to ban all Muslims from the United States), but all attention is going to be on Martin after this showing! Martin has remained mostly quiet throughout his presidential campaign, but here, at the last Democratic debate of 2015, that looks like it’s not the case anymore.
To political analysts, and members of her own party, the odds of Hillary getting the candidacy is a resounding yes. “For Sanders and O’Malley it’s a gut-check moment,” said Dante Scala, a political expert at the University of New Hampshire. “Are they, in their hearts, fine with Hillary being the nominee,” — or will they continue to escalate their attacks against her, which could hurt her when running against the Republican candidate, he said. With Martin gaining some serious guts in the third debate, it might not be so clear cut now!
